Rihanyo Initiative is the brainchild of Kjaere Baloyi, a Californian who moved to South Africa in 2014 to teach preschool for 18 months. After seeing the different problems the children faced due to lack of resources, she decided to create the Rihanyo Initiative in the hope of bringing improvements to the lives of these people.
The Rihanyo Initiative is a registered NPO in South Africa whose focus is on aiding children and youth in Southern African Communities who need specific help in getting health needs met.
Our vision is to become a place known in the community and a resource to make a difference in the health of children and youth in southern Africa.
Our organisation has different objectives in the short, medium and long term. Achieving them does not depend on us alone, but without your help we would not be able to achieve them.
Founded in 2021, the Rihanyo Initiative has a wonderful board of directors that oversees and supports the initiative, helping us to operate in accordance with good governance practices.
Raising money for causes and individuals in southern African countries around health issues.
Global awareness of youth and community needs. Informing the community of programs providing aid and assistance.
Physical resources to rural schools and clinics.
