Kjaere is the founding director and president of the Rihanyo Initiative.
Originally from California (USA), she moved to South Africa in 2014 to teach and it was there that she met her husband with whom they are currently raising a wonderful little girl.
She is an educated and experienced preschool teacher, who excels in implementing social and emotional development strategies for young children and possesses a vision to help young people thrive and grow in healthy environments.
In addition, she also assists at a preschool in Midrand and at True North Church in various capacities. Previously she has carried out various activities in Mexico, Northern Ireland and Russia.
Melusi holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria. Melusi has worked in the financial services industry for more than 10 years, and is currently a co-founder and director of several companies related to the financial sector. His role in the Rihanyo Initiative is that of co-treasurer.
Melusi is passionate about financial inclusion and economic transformation in South Africa and is committed to bringing meaningful financial solutions to the African continent.
Mokganyetji, a native of Limpopo, graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Business Studies, majoring in Actuarial Science.
She has over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry,
She is currently a Risk Actuary at MunichRe of Africa, heads the Education and Research portfolio of Lekgotla Actuaries Actuaries and is the secretary of the Rihanyo Initiative.
Sarah is an International Humanitarian Lawyer, working with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
She is a non-executive board member of the Rihanyo Initiative.
Sarah is passionate about Africa, and hopes to help inspire hope for the future of the continent.
Ryan has been a qualified actuary since 2010. He has worked for over 10 years for a local life insurance company. He is currently employed by a global reinsurance company and has been involved with ASABA as part of their social upliftment programme.
For Ryan, the Rihanyo Initiative is a brilliant opportunity to contribute and reinvest in the region, which is why he participates as co-treasurer.
